Advertising and Marketing Policy

MUMTAZ : Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam is firmly committed to preserving editorial independence, academic objectivity, and scholarly integrity free from commercial influence. This Advertising and Marketing Policy outlines the strict guidelines governing the acceptance of advertisements, sponsorships, and ethical standards for journal promotion and marketing.

1. General Advertising Policy

  • Prohibition of Third-Party Commercial Ads: MUMTAZ : Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam does not accept or display commercial third-party advertisements (such as digital banners, commercial inserts, or product sponsors) on its website platform or within published PDF articles.
  • Permitted Announcements: Notices published on the journal's website are strictly restricted to academic announcements, including Calls for Papers, new issue alerts, academic conferences hosted by partner institutions, and internal editorial policy updates.

2. Commercial Sponsorship and Editorial Independence

In cases where institutional funding or research grant support is received from external bodies, such financial support must never influence editorial decisions, the peer-review process, or the scholarly content of published papers. The Editorial Board retains absolute control over editorial independence and will decline any sponsorship arrangements that pose conflicts of interest or compromise the academic credibility of the journal.

3. Direct Marketing and Solicitation of Manuscripts

Any promotional activities, outreach, or direct solicitations of manuscripts conducted by the journal management (via email broadcasts or academic networks) must be executed ethically, transparently, and without misleading claims. Solicitations must provide accurate information regarding the journal's Focus and Scope, review procedures, and publication fees, without guaranteeing accelerated acceptance times that bypass rigorous peer review.

4. Pricing and Transparency of Publication Fees

All information concerning Article Processing Charges (APCs) or Article Submission Charges (ASCs) is disclosed transparently on dedicated pages of the journal website prior to manuscript submission. No hidden fees are applied outside of the official rate schedules established and authorized by the journal management and parent institution.
