Literacy culture is a fundamental component of improving learning quality and developing students who possess critical thinking, reflective skills, and lifelong learning habits. In the context of Islamic education, strengthening literacy culture extends beyond improving reading ability to fostering intellectual values that are consistent with Islamic educational principles. This study aims to describe the implementation of a school book-reading program and analyze its contribution to transforming students' literacy culture at MTs Nurul Huda Ranuyoso. The study employed a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, librarian, and students, as well as documentation. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while source and technique triangulation ensured the trustworthiness of the findings. The results indicate that the reading program was implemented through pre-class reading activities, the utilization of the school library and reading corners, reading journals, and continuous teacher guidance during literacy activities. The program significantly enhanced students' reading interest, reading comprehension, classroom participation, and sustainable reading habits. This study concludes that the implementation of a structured book-reading program serves as an effective teaching and learning strategy for transforming students' literacy culture while supporting the development of adaptive, character-oriented, and lifelong learning-based Islamic education.
