The Community Service Program (KKN) of Group 26252, UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta, conducted a savings-product socialization program for Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in Sawahan Village, Juwiring Subdistrict, Klaten Regency, attended by 37 participants consisting of micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) actors and members of the local women's community organization (PKK). This study aims to analyze the effect of Islamic Financial Literacy (X1) and Religiosity (X2) on the Interest in Opening a BSI Savings Account (Y). The study employed a quantitative approach using a saturated sampling technique involving all 37 participants, with data analyzed through Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 3. The results show that Islamic Financial Literacy and Religiosity jointly explain 54.9% of the variance in interest (R² = 0.549). At a 10% significance level, Islamic Financial Literacy has a positive and significant effect on interest (T = 2.655; P = 0.008), as does Religiosity (T = 1.853; P = 0.064), with Islamic Financial Literacy being the more dominant factor. This finding is reinforced by qualitative data, in which 73% of participants stated that avoiding riba (interest-based transactions) was their main reason for interest. This study recommends continuous Islamic financial education and clearer product differentiation between BSI and the conventional banking services already used by the community.
