Writing skills are a fundamental language competency that requires stimulation from an early age as the foundation for children to express ideas and communicate effectively; however, learning in early childhood education is still constrained by the limited availability of instructional media that can encourage children to write independently. This study aimed to develop a valid, feasible, and effective 3D educational board on the theme of medicinal plants in improving the writing skills of children aged 5–6 years. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The research participants were children in Group B2 at TK Negeri Pembina Kaliwates, Jember. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The findings revealed that: (1) the 3D educational board was systematically developed following all stages of the ADDIE model; (2) the validation results from expert validators indicated that the feasibility level of the 3D educational board reached 94%, which was categorized as highly feasible; and (3) the effectiveness test showed that the pre-test score of 67% increased to 87% on the post-test, representing a 20% improvement. These findings indicate that the 3D educational board is effective for use as a learning medium to enhance the language skills of children aged 5–6 years.
