Penerapan Strategi Pembelajaran Inkuiri untuk Meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar Geometri pada Mahasiswa PGMI Universitas Islam Raden Rahmat Malang
Abstract
Geometry is one of the branches of mathematics that
are learned at the basic education level. Material geometry
need to be taught on a college student so have enough stock to
teach mainly on mathematical subjects. To achieve the
standard ketuntasan minimum, then the learning process in the
classroom need to be designed according to the characteristics
of the students and the learning objectives to be achieved.
Inquiry learning strategies chosen because according to the
characteristics of the students who tend to be critical in their
thinking. This research was conducted to find out the
effectiveness of the learning strategy inkuiri in improving
student learning outcomes and activities. The methods used in
this research is classroom action research. The results of this
research show the cycle I learning activities reach 65% and the
increase in cycle II becomes 100%. For student learning results
showed improvement from the cycle I i.e. 57% to 91%. Student
learning can be concluded in accordance with the minimum
standards set forth.
