Abstract

Humanistic approach arouse in the 1940s as the
dissatisfaction reactions to psychoanalysis and behaviouristic
approaches. As one of the approach in psychology, it is
relatively alive and continuously generates relevant concepts to
psychology research fields, that emphasizes to self
actualization awareness and positive things about humanism.
This article will be portraying high-profile figures on humanistic
and their relevant theories to educational psychology and will
be concluded with the application of humanistic psychology in
educational fields, especially in the learning process
