This study is motivated by the prevalence of rule violations and declining discipline among early adolescent students in Islamic boarding schools, requiring ta’dib-based corrective mechanisms without violence. The objective is to analyze the implementation of punishment, its procedures, and its impact on shaping student discipline. Unlike previous studies focusing on macro-human rights analysis or quantitative impacts, this research positions itself in a micro-operational analysis of integrating verbal, educational physical, and social punishments. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving eighth-grade male students at Al-Hikmah Islamic Boarding School Bandar Lampung. The results indicate that punishment is administered gradually and proportionally with guidance, which significantly improves punctuality, compliance, and personal responsibility. The success of this model is supported by bil-lisān al-layyin principles, the transformation of physical sanctions into light constructive activities, and omnipresent oversight synergy between teachers and dorm guardians.
